Due to join Clipper Ventures round the world yacht race in April and compete in the final 2 legs of the race. Starting in Santa Cruz in California, calling in at Panama, Jamaica, New York, Nova Scotia, Cork and ending in Liverpool 3 months later.

I'm doing this not just for the terror of it but to raise funds for Eplipesy Action in memory of my nephew Matthew who died of SUDEP one year ago.  I aim to raise the £ equivalent of the straight route mileage for the route I'm sailing, this is 8550 miles.  It's hard to imagine that distance so to make it easier, think of it in terms of 1/3rd of the way round the world; or 326 marathons.
